In order to help keep convention registration as affordable as possible, please book your accommodation with one of these hotel partners. Morning Star Bible Camp
Morning Star Bible Camp is located on the south end of Westbank, about 25km from BC CHEC via Hwy 97. There are a variety of accommodations ranging from lodges, boardwalk cabins, full bunkhouses, and half bunkhouse style with various combinations of single beds, bunk beds, double beds, and sofa beds. Washrooms are separate from sleeping quarters but a few of the rooms have sinks. Rooms sleep from 4-18 people depending on the unit and most have space for a playpen. All rooms require guests to bring their own bedding and you are asked to tidy up when you check out. Campbell Lodge and Lynn Lodge are $50/night for 2 people and an extra $10 for each additional person. Boardwalk cabins are $40/night for 2 people and an extra $10 for each additional person. Lower Bunkhouses are $80/night for a full bunkhouse and $40/night for a half bunkhouse. These prices are suggested donation amounts. There are limited billeting opportunities available. Local families are opening their homes as well as offering space to park RVs (no hook-ups, but free parking). If you are interested in staying with a local homeschooling family, please email Michelle Smith. Alternately, if you are a local family, willing to open your home to out of town homeschoolers, thus making the weekend more affordable for those traveling to Kelowna, please contact Michelle Smith.
