Youth & Kids Programs

Youth and kids programs are available for kids from infant to grade 12. Each program is available for a single day, or for the full weekend. You can view pricing for each program here.

If a program option does not show up on the registration form, it is full. Please contact Michelle Kapelle to be placed on a waiting list.

Learning assistance is not available in these programs.

Pick-up Times

Drop off for the children's programs starts at 8:15 a.m.. Please pick up children promptly at 4:30 p.m.

Children in the Grades 1-6, Jr. Kindergarten, and Jr. Preschool programs need to be picked up from their programs during lunch, from 11:45-12:45. Please be prompt!

Sibling groups will be kept together whenever possible. If you wish for your family to be in the same group as another family, please indicate in the place provided during registration.

Maple Springs Youth Day Camp for Grades 7–12 (age 12 and up)

When registering, youth will be asked to choose their preferred activities:

  • Maple Springs is a unique non-profit kids and community camp. We believe in great relationships and amazing times in the outdoors! The CHEC youth program is a great place to meet other kids, try out new activities and play awesome games.

    Enjoy snacks, lunch, wide games and more! Come and meet other youths, enjoy creation and have a blast!

    Where do the Youth meet and at what time?

    • Check in begins at 8:30 in the cul-de-sac by the bus.
    • Youth will be bussed to and from the camp each day, (trip is 1-hour, each way).The bus leaves the BC CHEC venue at 9:00 a.m. sharp and returns by 4:15 p.m.

    Children's Program

    Grades 1–6; Born in 2006–2011 Students in Grade 7 can be registered in either the Grade 1-6 Children’s program or the Youth program. If you are enrolled with HCOS and want to register for the PAC Discount, please be sure to use the correct Type of Registration (ie. Youth Day Camp (HCOS)).

    Everyone Counts! with the Perry Springman Band

    Perry is a dad. He loves being a dad! Perry and his fabulous wife Julia homeschool their four children with Julia as the teacher and Perry as the principal (more of an honorary title.…) The best part about this arrangement is that they can take their school on the road and tour. And, they tour a lot! They will be doing a wonderful VBS style program with lots of singing, of course!

    Jr. Kindergarten

    For children born in 2012. They will participate in some of the Children’s Program in the big top tent, as well as activities and follow the Jr. Children’s Program schedule. If your child was born in 2012, please sign up under the Jr. Program Kindergarten or Jr. Program Kindergarten (HCOS).

    Our E.C.E. qualified Preschool staff offer an assortment of activities in the learning centers of our government-approved Preschool space.

    Nursery

    We no longer offer nursery options at the Convention. Instead, there will be a Parent’s Room where you can take your young children for a break. It will be located downstairs in the church.
