The BC Christian Home Educators’ Convention is thrilled to be celebrating its 11th Annual Convention on April 29th & 30th, 2016! This event brings together homeschooling families with resource-providers, speakers, and supportive networking options for two days of inspiration, encouragement and challenge.

Keynote Speakers

Ray & Donna Reish

Ray and Donna Reish are the homeschooling parents of seven children, ages sixteen to thirty-one. Donna has written over fifty curriculum books over the past fifteen years, including, Character Quality Language Arts, Meaningful Composition, and Really Writing (eBook).

Duggie Dug Dug

He’s back! Doug Horley (Duggie Dug Dug) is a popular Christian children’s entertainer/evangelist and songwriter with a national and international ministry working with children and families. His songs have been used by churches across the planet!

Through a lineup of dynamic speakers, dozens of practical workshops, two packed vendor halls, and the opportunity for one-on-one encouragement, you will be equipped to fulfill your greatest calling in life: making disciples of Jesus Christ – one child at a time.


You will be encouraged with fresh perspectives behind daily routines, helping children discover passion and purpose, and be inspired in your homeschool journey. You will learn how to help your children respond to moral relativism and the changing moral climate our young people live in.


BC CHEC is happy to offer a full slate of children's programs from 0 years through to Grade 6 with guest Speaker Duggie Dug Dug. The staff for the children’s program is provided by Kelowna Christian Center’s BRiK Church and overseen by Pastors Christine and Josiah Bitgood.


Students from Grades 7-12 will enjoy some great activities at Maple Springs Bible Camp!

Friday Night Youth Event: Challenges to Christianity - Youth will learn how to address objections to their faith by New Atheists with speaker Dr. Paul Chamberlain. Parents are welcome to join in.
